HELP NEEDED

USHERS NEEDED:  Please contact the church office (760) 739-1650, if you can assist as an usher for either of the Sunday services or for one of our special Holiday services.  It's easy to learn the procedures and we really need your friendly smile.

 

 

SOUP SUPPERS - HELP NEEDED!  Please sign up on the patio to help with cooking, setting up, or cleaning up for our Advent soup suppers December 3, 10 and 17.  This is a great way to fellowship with other members and to serve our Lord.

 

 ARE YOU A PEOPLE PERSON? HELP NEEDED!  We need a Greeter Coordinator (schedules greeters for Sunday mornings, can be done from home), and someone to deliver cookies to our visitors in the Valley Center area. Please call the office at (760)739-1650 for information.

SHARP HOSPITAL IS IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS of all ages.
Please call (619) 667-1900 by December 31st, 2008, to register for classes.

COMMUNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH has expanded its ministry by taking canned goods, dry food, and clothing donations for the Salvation Army in addition to the N.C.I.C. The second Sunday of each month is your special date to remember.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES: Homemade cookies are needed for Evangelism. If you could leave 1 dozen on a plastic plate, covered tightly with foil or saran wrap in the church refrigerator and mark it "FOR EVANGELISM", it would be appreciated.

A REMINDER FROM COOKS ON CALL We will be happy to bring a meal (or meals for up to 3 days) to you, should you have the need - a new baby, home from the hospital, etc. Call Judy Concannon at (760} 747-1741 and we'll come to your home at a convenient time.

Sunday Morning Flowers Members who furnish flowers for Sunday may pick them up after the 11:15 AM service, or flowers will be kept until Tuesday morning and can be picked up at your convenience.
