Community Activities

Alternatives Pregnancy Care Clinic is a Christian organization that provides counseling, parenting, childbirth, and breastfeeding classes, and referrals to other agencies such as Medi-Cal for any woman who walks through their doors. They also do post-abortion counseling, abstinence education, and help with material needs such as maternity and baby clothes, baby food, formula, and diapers. All of their services are free, and they run the clinic with only a few paid staff, mostly volunteers. Last year, because of Alternatives, 385 women who were considering abortion changed their minds.
