DEDICATION OF
KETURAKAT HALL,
10:00 A.M., WITH LUNCHEON
TO FOLLOW
Twenty years ago on Oct. 16, 1988
Community Lutheran Church held its first
worship service at Orange Glen
Elementary School. Rev. Dr. Charles
Keturakat, Senior Pastor at Grace led that
worship. In honor of Dr. Rev Charles
Keturakat and his wife Ruth for all of their
hard work and dedication, we will be renaming
our current sanctuary Keturakat
Hall. The dedication ceremony will be
part of our 10:00AM worship service on
that day and there will be a luncheon to
follow. If you will be joining us for the
luncheon, please sign up on the church
patio so we can have an accurate count. |

Operation Christmas Child November 26th
When I was nine, I packed a shoebox full of toys, candy, and hygiene items to be shipped overseas to a child for Christmas through Operation Christmas Child. I continued to do so each year, never knowing how my gifts were impacting children around the world. When I was 18, I received a letter from a girl named Mahoody in
Panama who said she had received one of my boxes I had sent out when I was nine years old. She had kept my letter for nine years and finally wrote to say thank you! I had no idea something so small could have such a lasting impact!
On November 26th, the young adults will be going to the Operation Christmas Child warehouse in Irvine to sort and pack shoeboxes to be sent around the world to children for Christmas. If you would like to participate, contact Kristen Beyer at kbeyer@clcesc.org.
