Sunday Morning Bible Class - Every Sunday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the Youth Room (12). Kyle Tracy and Mike Zsolczai lead this time.
Youth Nights - We get together every Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. This is a great time to reconnecting with friends, eat great snack food and have relevant Bible study. We will be using the NBC drama Friday Night Lights as our seg-way into Bible Study. Jim Meyer leads this event.
Monthly Fun Activities – Each month we will do some sort of fun activity that gets us out into the community. It might be a lock-in that takes us bowling and playing broomball. It might be paintball or rock climbing. We also always have a ski trip during the winter months. Whatever it is, it will be fun because we are together.
Service Learning Events – Every summer we attend a service learning experience in San Francisco . The group will be helping at a variety of service agencies in the downtown San Francisco area.
National Youth Gathering – The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synond does a National Youth Gathering every three years. The next gatheing will be held during the summer months in 2010 in the city of New Orleans . This is always a highlight for the youth that attend. |
