Greetings from Kids of the Kingdom Sunday School

MARCH 2010

Many thanks to teachers and parents who helped make “Friendship Sunday” a success. The children enjoyed learning about “God’s Amazing Love” and made a Valentine gift for family and friends.  As legend tells us, St. Valentine was a very generous soul and stood strong for his beliefs. 

We now enter the season of Lent and preparation for Easter. We encourage you to engage your children in the events leading up to Easter, including Palm Sunday celebration and annual Easter Egg Hunt provided by the high school youth.  Children will receive an Easter devotion and story book to share with their families.  We continue to meet in the Sanctuary to sing, collect offering, celebrate birthdays and then head off to our classes.  We will also be learning about the Consecrated Service programs with special Sunday School lessons for a total of four weeks, having started on February 21, 2010.  May the Lord bless our teachers and children during this exciting time of the Church year.
